Great minus the jingling buttons

Great look and quality. Areas of improvement, change the buttons. Not a deal breaker but a better option would be nice.

My all around jacket!

Soft to touch, beautiful brown, and keeps you warm on the coldest days. This jacket is well made, designed for everyday use.

Great jacket and very warm

Just received it today. I'm 5'10 and about 160-165 with a 39" chest but fairly broad shoulders. The 40 fits pretty much perfectly with room across the shoulders and chest for layering. Not tight in the armpits (my usual problem) and the sleeves are a perfect length. Despite the jacket's light weight, it's very warm. Only complaint I have is that the side adjustment tabs are just for show. I noticed the adjustment tabs in the photos and assumed there would be two buttons for each to enable you to cinch in the jacket a bit. There's only one button on each side so no adjustability; a closer look at the photo shows only one button so this is intentional. Guess I missed that. I don't know why Overland opted not to make the adjustment tabs nonfunctional. I might add a couple of buttons myself but other than that it's a beautiful jacket.

Great quality and great fit in hard to find size

I love this jacket, but almost didn't try it on. Once I did, I knew it was a jacket for me. I am not a huge football player type guy, but I am a muscular 240, and this jacket came in a size 50. So not only does it fit me around chest, it also isn't as big and boxy as a couple of other jackets I found in other places definitely that fit me in the chest. I am not saying it's tapered, but it's proportioned for a modern build. I am hoping it gets colder out so I can wear it more this year. And not only looks really cool, but it's really really warm and really comfortable.

Excellent!

Well made and fits great. I'm 5'10" and 205 lbs and the 46 fits perfectly. This is quality and will last a long time. I had my eye on this Gabriel coat for a while and decided to get it finally. My favorite now. I have two bomber jackets, one gray with gray sheer fur on the inside and one dark with white showing fur on the inside and this Gabriel is not as thick as the other two. I like that is a little bit thinner, but you would not notice any difference in the warmth out in the cold.
