Hello! This rug would be great for under a dining room table. When cleaning this rug, spot cleaning is the best way to care for your cowhide. You will want to use a very mild detergent, without softeners, and then let it air dry. You will not want to use any heat or sun to dry the rug as it could change the appearance of the rug. Perfect black & white cow

The black & white hide is exactly what I envisioned for this tiny lakeside treehouse. The hide acts as a rug that defines the seating area, yet remains flat enough for the loft ladder to easily slide over. The spots fit perfectly into the decor. Overland customer service was fabulous in fulfilling my special request for more white.
