Delano Hooded Spanish Shearling Sheepskin Jacket with Fur Trim

I bought this coat in December of 2021 because I fell in love with the look of it in the Overland catalog. It surpassed the picture! I ordered the M because I like freedom of movement in the shoulder area. For reference: I'm 5'4", 130lbs. At first, I thought it would be too big, but it has slip cords in the back that cinch in or let out as needed. The fur around the hood is full, luxurious, soft, & dyed to match the deep navy of the Spanish shearling. I wore this coat to Las Vegas & a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. It was BITTER COLD when we went. Yet, this coat kept me very warm & comfortable. I have several coats, & capes from Overland and every single purchase is of exceptional quality! This coat is sexy, yet fun. PLEASE, PLEASE make this in a chocolate brown!! I NEED IT!!

I ordered 3 coats and returned 2 of them. The return process was easy, and I received my refund in a timely manner, which is most appreciated. This is the jacket I kept - it is stylish (fits perfectly and is adjustable at the waist), warm and beautiful. This is not the first time I have purchased from Overland - the quality is superb, and customer service is top notch!

I was anxious about ordering such an expensive item online but needn't have worried. The quality of the jacket is exceptional. The shearling is soft, and not at all scratchy or itchy on my sensitive skin. The cut is elegant but not so much that it can't be dressed down with jeans. I have long arms but there is still enough sleeve length for a small turn back showing off the shearling. The colour is a deep beautiful blue and I love, love, love the fur trim. That said, my only complaint is that I had to pay an extra fish and wildlife fee (presumably because of shipping to Canada) of $93 which wasn't mentioned anywhere in the website information. I also paid a pretty hefty amount for customs duty. Both of these things added approximately 40% to my purchase price. Nevertheless I don't regret it as I paid the sale price and got an amazing heirloom piece for my wardrobe.

This coat has it all. Warmth, style and cut for a woman's body. It's BLUE! Couldn't be better.
