As another reviewer pointed out, the pockets are perfectly placed and I agree that it is best that they are not zippered. The leather is buttery and the lining is just right--not too thick or thin. Also, you can pull on the drawstring to create a more tailored fit. The details on the back at the waist and bottom of the coat are interesting and unique. I love that the coat has both toggle buttons and a zipper--if I am on the run, the toggle buttons are my go to closure option but if it is freezing out, then I zip up all the way. The hood is wonderful and fits my head well although it would be nice to be able to tighten it if needed. The sleeves were a bit long for me as well but I roll them up and they look like natural fur cuffs, so I don't mind at all--looks like the coat was designed that way! All in all, I am thrilled with this purchase and I look forward to wearing it each time I grab for it. Overland produces quality products that don't disappoint.

I have been searching for a replacement for an old leather coat that needs to be retired. This is the one. I love the Napa finish on the shearling as opposed to a suede finish. The pockets do not zip (thankfully), so its easy to slip hands in to keep warm. The drawstring in the back allows a better fit for me since I am only 5'4". It will keep the cold out from my backside. The hood is not removable, but when have I ever removed a hood? - Never. This is a warm coat - the lining is substantial - so you do not need more layers underneath, and the length is ideal for walking around and or travel in cold weather. The toggle buttons over the zipper closure in front are very easy to secure and look classy. The sleeves are a bit long on me, but I can live with that. All in all this is worth every penny.
