Cave Lambskin Leather Moto Jacket

This is the second leather jacket I purchased at Overland and the quality does not disappoint! It is just the light weight I was looking for and has that buttery feel and smell I look for in a high quality leather product. Love the detail cuts and the fit is perfect.

I've been looking for a mid-range motorcycle jacket for literally years. I've made a few purchases, but have typically been disappointed. I ran into this jacket completely by accident while my wife was shopping and it simply ticked all the boxes. The collar hangs perfectly, the style is not overdone, the leather is incredibly soft (which actually concerns me with regard to long term durability), the interior lining is top notch and it fits wonderfully. I'm 5' 11", 195. Not fat (most of the time) and not skinny. Fits great and is super super comfortable. Overland has another, more expensive, motorcycle jacket in their current catalog, which I also tried on. While nice, it was not nearly as soft and the styling was over the top for casual use. It wasn't "dumb and dumber in Aspen" bad, but just too much for me. I can't speak to long term durability as it's a new purchase. It is obviously a jacket that needs some care, and wouldn't be appropriate for actual motorcycle use, especially during inclimate weather. It would offer no protection. It's just too soft. Luckily I've got a separate jacket for that work. This is a casual jacket for weekend use and dinner.

I have several heavy leather jackets for Winter wear. I wanted a light leather jacket for Spring and Fall weather. The Cave Lambskin Leather Moto Jacket is a perfect weight for cool weather. Looking forward to Fall temperatures.

The material is thin and feels it hangs on the body. I have two other jackets from here they are awesome but this one did not met my expectation.
