Brody Sheepskin Jacket

Warm, rugged, stylish. A mix between a shearling bomber and a trucker-style jacket. I wear 43 or 44, and the 44 was perfect. Wear it anywhere but in the rain.

Nice quality and I like the style. I was wearing jacket in 29 degrees and it was warm. I recently bought it. Customer service at Overland is very good. I am wearing in general size M and size 40 was fine.

Jacket was delivered prior to charge appearing on my card. Packaged very well and arrived in great condition. Have several other items from Overland. The Good: Looks better in person. The black fur feels so thick and luxurious. You can dress it up or just wear with jeans and a tee and looks great. I'm usually in-between a 40 and 42 for most things. I got a 40 and it fits great. I wouldn't want to wear a heavy sweater under it though. Overall, it's comfy and warm and feels understated elegant. The no so good: It arrived with a strong smell of glue or epoxy. It was quite odd. I noticed it right when I put it on. But I think it just needed some time to breathe. I've had it about a week now and that smell has pretty much gone away but I can still smell it if I try. Between my wife and I, we have about a half-dozen Overland coats. This is the first I've encountered a weird smell. Another issue, one of the chest pockets had a tape sealing it shut and upon removal of the tape it left permanent marks inside the pocket. It's unnoticeable when wearing, but it's there inside. So not a huge deal, but just a lack of quality control I think. I'm wondering if I should exchange for another, but not sure... Overall, I really like the jacket but it's probably not the best of them.

Warm, and merino lining is incredibly soft. Classic design that takes the trucker/jean style jacket and takes it up a notch. The black fleece vs something brighter makes it feel at home for nicer occasions as well as everyday. I appreciate the fit, which is a bit athletic and doesn't waste bulk through the middle. If you are on the fence for sizes, I would round up. I'm 6'2", 195 lbs, 44" chest and 35" waist and a 42-44 fits like it's custom made for me. Not room for anything bulky underneath--tee shirt and maybe a dress shirt. As warm as this is, you wouldn't want that anyway.
