Inspired by the rugged natural beauty of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, our embroidered Bison Peak suede leather shirt lends unique flavor to your cool-weather collection. Made from soft yet wonderfully durable goat suede, this snap-front, collared leather shirt features embroidered designs along the front and back yokes and down the upper sleeves. With two chest pockets, fully lined sleeves, and partially lined body.

QUESTION:

I am curious to know if this ELK color is more tan or olive? The model picture is very similar to an olive, which is what I want, but in the 'reviews' section, a customer provides a picture that makes the garment look quite tan in appearance. Please advise. Thank you

Sand Bison Peak

I originally got the XL in Sand color. It was great, but too big for me, so I exchanged it for size L, which now seems perfect....same Sand color. This is a really beautiful shirt jacket, and is very soft, yet has some weight to it. It is really a stunning piece, and it will probably stretch a little bit, with wear. For reference, I'm 6'3, 210lbs., 43-44 chest, 32 waist, and 19" shoulder to shoulder. (I think that the XL shoulder width was 20.5", and it probably would have stretched a little more.) The XL was great layered, but I can also do that with a size L. This is absolutely worth it's price!

Amazing shirt/jacket; great color and super feel

While this looks good in the photos, it looks better in real life. The color is an amazing dark olive/brown. I like how the dark color tones down the stitching just a little. The embroidery on mine was just flawless. The leather is thick enough for a little warmth, and is amazingly soft and supple. Snaps work fine. I am really impressed! I am 6ft and 195 lbs. Typically I would wear a 42L suit with minimal alterations, or an L in a shirt. I ordered XL in this and it is a perfect fit over a shirt. If you want to use this as a jacket, I would suggest sizing up.

Shirt Jacket is great fit and quality as expected but.......

Ive probably bought over 30 different garments from Overland, online and in the stores. However to best of my recollection you have included one of your h1gh quality hangers in each mail order jacket box, but not this time? Why?

Cut Above

I have this in the darker color; sprang for the lighter color now also. One of my favorite layer pieces, just screams laid back vintage Western US. Fits true to size, great for layering over a thinner collared shirt as a light jacket or overskirt.
