I am curious to know if this ELK color is more tan or olive? The model picture is very similar to an olive, which is what I want, but in the 'reviews' section, a customer provides a picture that makes the garment look quite tan in appearance. Please advise. Thank you

Cut Above

I have this in the darker color; sprang for the lighter color now also. One of my favorite layer pieces, just screams laid back vintage Western US. Fits true to size, great for layering over a thinner collared shirt as a light jacket or overskirt.

Great Transition Piece

Note that the edges of this item are shearling, not the entire thing. Means the weight is medium, not just for cold weather use. It's early fall and I've already found plenty of excuses to wear this. True to size, 3-season weight. Looks great with jeans and a dress shirt.

Amazing construction and superb detail in the embroidery!

This leather shirt/jacket is one of the best pieces of fashion I've gotten. The level of detail in the construction and the designs in the embroidery are the highlights of this garment. To take it up a notch, the horn snap buttons finish it gorgeously.

Best purchase ever

What a classy, high-quality and very unique suede shirt jacket. It hangs well and is the perfect weight. Elk is a great mossy color and the embroidery is beautifully done. My son is a musician and the look, comfort and modern, but classy fit is excellent. Fits true to size even with a shirt or tee underneath.

Something different

I bought this for my husband as a gift. It is NOTHING like he owns and I took a risk that my Bronx tough guy would wear something with embroidery. He loves it! I love the soft material and the snaps instead of buttons or zip. Such a unique item. Don't hesitate to buy it.

My wife said 'Hey you look great, what is that?'

Perfect for cool weather. Very high quality. This shirt-jacket is about half the weight of a thick leather coat, making it wearable inside all day, too. I met 5 people wearing this and 3 gave me compliments. Western vibe is not over the top: Think Austin, not Santa Fe. True to size: I'm 5' 10" 194 pounds with an athletic build, the size Large fits perfect. Well done, Overland.

My new favorite shirt...err...jacket.

It's unique, somewhat warm, well made and my new favorite. The embroidery is awesome and the leather quality is some of the best I've seen personally for this type of use. I'm a 42 regular and it fits well with an undershirt. 👍👍👍

Excellent Detailing

I received more compliments on this shirt in my first wear out than any other garment I've ever worn. Everyone was wowed. The embroideries are just as much a part of this shirt as the goatskin fabric. The inner liner comes down from shoulders to the seam you can see between the 5th and 6th snaps - and it really helps to keep your inner layers tidy and prevents the goatskin from pulling on anything you're wearing underneath.
