Not like they used to be

Bought these for my wife because her old ones are maybe 8-10 years old. They are still nice mittens. The problem is that the shearling is noticeably thinner. The thing is, they are supposed to be for when the thermometer drops to temperatures on the minus side of zero when walking the dogs. These new mittens just aren't the same. Again, nice mittens, but not nearly as warm as what was bought just a few years ago. Would be willing to pay extra to get the same quality had with the first pair.

Keeps my hands nice and warm.

I used the sizing chart for my hand and I ordered a medium based on that. Way too small and returned for a large. That also was too small and had to return again for XL. Now the XL fits very snug and keeps my hands very warm.

Good looking warm mittens!

These are handsome and smart looking lined mitts. The cuff is an attractive contrast and they are warm. I have worn them a few times now in a Buffalo winter and my fingers stay warm. I will say that if it gets super cold. (Like sub-zero) i would probably use hand warmers also.
