This hat is very warm and covers my ears, so it meets its primary purpose. But the bill doesn't fold down, which to me is necessary to keep snow out of my eyes. If it did, I'd rate it 5 stars. Also, I ordered one size up and it's still a bit snug, but I think it will stretch out over time.
