Australian Merino Sheepskin Trapper Hat

I wear this walking our dog in the bitter cold of northern Wisconsin. Cold temps are no challenge for this hat and the winds off of Lake Superior are negated by the superior materials. Unbelievably warm and comfortable even when I am on the tractor pushing snow in below zero (F) temps and -30 F wind chills. I have been wanting to start winter camping again at 62 years old, and this hat has kindled that fire even more. If you want warmth...buy it. If you want style...buy it. Don't waste money on cheaper hats made of cheaper materials. I have done that myself and found they do not last. This hat is a lifetime investment...it's that good in my opinion.

I love this hat I am a hospital chaplain and am out all hours of the night on call... even though I live in Florida it sometimes gets bitter cold here in the winter. My father in law who had lived in Spokane during the seventies once purchased one of these for me which I still have. It was much more expensive than this one but most certainly no better. The hat is extremely well made, stitched, and is substantial and yet not bulky. I get lots of compliments on it here and when I wear it in New Jersey while visiting our daughter. Ever since I was a little boy I dreamed of being a Trapper or Alaskan musher like in the Iditarod, thus the need for this hat fulfills a childhood fantasy as l well. I bought this hat for my own self-care and to be good to myself. I am also a folk guitarist and it is cool to wear outside on a cool night with the ear flaps up of course so I can hear, If you love shearling, but maybe can't afford or don't need a shearing coat... do yourself a favor and by this hat. You will be transformed into an outdoors person. This hat looks great on a lady as well. It is very hip and cool and feels great on. I can wear it even when it is in the fifties outside to walk my Australian shepherd early in the morning or late at night. When I wear it and walk my dog I imagine we are together on the Iditarod trail. It was therapy for me to get this most wonderful, supple, extremely well made, lightweight hat!!!

Living in Minnesota the winters can be quite cold and this Trapper Hat has been great, covering my ears and head preventing wind and freezing cold from these elements.

Well make, nice and warm for my bald head

This is a great hat for those very cold days. I wear the hat when it's cold to keep my head and ears warm. It is very effective in performing both of those tasks. I do wish to warn you however when you wear this hat and have your ears covered that you will be unable to hear well. This is a wonderful hat to wear on those cold snowy days. It is very comfortable and sized according to script meaning that an XL is truly an XL. The price is also excellent for a trapper hat of this quality. Compliments will abound when you wear this hat! I would make this purchase again.

Due to medical conditions, I am completely BALD! Since I won't be growing any hair soon...or ever, I bought this sheepskin lined cap for those days that are chilly!It does a great job keeping the ole noggin warm and looks great!
