I wanted to love this shirt...

I was thrilled to buy this beautiful and stylish shirt on sale. I have been looking for a black snap front shirt for years to replace a beloved similar style black corduroy shirt. I am 5'6" and weigh 130lb. I ordered a small, my usual size. When I tried it on, I was concerned. The shirt was a bit longer than I liked. But I could live with that. When wearing it over a lightweight top, belt and jeans, it was a tiny bit snug through at the hips. I could snap all the snaps. But I was afraid about possible shrinkage after washing. (It was 100% cotton.) The snugness would have been acceptable if there was a bit of stretch in the material. Or, if the material was a bit more substantial... like fine corduroy or heavier denim. I would LOVE to see this style of shirt made with fine black corduroy or a material that had some stretch.
