Nice cowhide but poor backing

I have this on my leather couch. I knew the backing was cotton but the light color material detracts from the cowhide side. Also I would like a denser fill. The cowhide itself is nice.

I returned the 2 light brindle pillows I'd ordered.

All of the light brindle products were shown as a light gray on the website. The pillows I received were dark brown & black. Had I known this was an option for light brindle, I would have ordered the black & white. The brown & black did not work with my furniture. I did like the pillows, & would have kept them if I was able to use that color in the room.

The cotton back was too easily seen and took away from the overall appearance of the cowhide.

Disappointing

As the other reviews have stated, there is a canvas backing that is not shown in the photos on the website. It is deceiving. I expected the pillow to be all of the same pattern hide on both sides. It was not. It has the cow hide on the front and canvas on the back, which does not match the aesthetic I was going for, we ended up returning because of this !
