Returns Associate

Location: Fairfield, IA
Terms: Seasonal Position Mon-Friday 10AM-7PM
Salary/Rate: $20/HR

The Returns Associate is responsible for proper physical and systemic processing of returned customer orders. This includes un-packaging and inspection of products, determining condition, reconditioning product to new condition, and processing the customer requests for refunds and exchanges in our computer system. The Returns Associate works safely and with a high sense of urgency to meet performance standards. Your efforts will contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in general physical activities such as unloading and sorting inbound packages, this will involve some manual lifting.
  • Opening packages, removing & inspecting items, and verifying customer information.
  • High functioning computer processing.
  • Match returned product to product on customer order.
  • Inspect items and determine the condition of the product based on established guidelines and operating procedures set forth.
  • Preparing and transferring returned products to be placed back into inventory.
  • Maintain accurate data entry without errors.
  • Meeting agreed targets by demonstrating time management skills at a minimum hourly unit rate expectation.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong knowledge of computers, handheld scanners, and printers.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time comfortably.
  • Ability to bend and twist repetitively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to ask questions and communicate.
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English.

Internet Shipping Associate

Location: Fairfield, IA

As an internet shipping associate, you will be responsible for processing, packing, and shipping customer orders, accurately and in a timely manner. Your efforts will contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Picking the necessary products out of inventory to fulfill Internet orders.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently using our system.
  • Determine and build packaging based on product size.
  • Perform quality control checks on all products before shipping.
  • Follow proper packing procedure to create packages that adhere to the organization’s highest standards.
  • Creating shipping labels to be placed on packages.
  • Keeping your workstation clean and well stocked with packing materials.
  • Performing general cleaning duties.

Shipping & Receiving Associate

Location: Fairfield, IA
Terms: Seasonal Position. M-F. 7AM-4PM.

For 50 years, our family-run business has offered superbly crafted outerwear, clothing, and home accents inspired by the American West and made from the finest sheepskin, leather, wool, and other natural materials.

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, your role will be to receive and distribute incoming products accurately and efficiently. This will include being responsible for the daily inventory replenishment needs of our stores across the country. You will be required to execute a high-performance metric and uphold minimal errors in your daily task. Your efforts will contribute to the overall growth and success of our employees and organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily replenishment of store inventory.
  • Proficiently receiving incoming products.
  • Distributing new inventory properly out to warehouse and stores.
  • Keeping receiving space clean of trash and cardboard.

Requirements:

  • The ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
  • The ability to lift, up to 70lbs.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong computer comprehension.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Retail Store Positions

Locations: TELLURIDE, CO, BRECKENRIDGE, CO, JACKSON HOLE, WY, OMAHA, NE, SUN VALLEY, ID, AND TRUCKEE, CA

The Sales Associate is responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Building long-lasting customer relationships
  • Maintaining sales goals and performance expectations
  • Assisting in keeping the store stocked, merchandised, clean and inviting
The Sales Associate skill set:

  • Must be able to assist with shipping and receiving
  • Ability to spend 100% of working time standing, walking, moving in the store, reaching, bending, and light lifting
  • Retail sales experience
  • Communication, interpersonal relationships
  • Proficient with computer and POS systems
  • Cash handling

The Sales Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks in specific situations to achieve our customer service and operational goals. Scheduling includes a mix of day and night shifts, 7 days a week and Holidays.
