Customer Service Team Associate (Seasonal)

Location: Fairfield, IA

Overland sells luxury sheepskin and leather outerwear nationwide via its 16 retail stores and online website. Join Overland’s talented Customer Service team to help provide world-class customer service during the busiest retail months—selected reps will:

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answer inbound customer calls, emails, and chats in a friendly and professional manner
  • Familiarize with our extensive outerwear product line and help answer product and sizing questions
  • Provide top-notch service (resolving shipping issues, exchanges, returns, or other concerns) that exceeds customer expectations
  • Perform order quality checks and resolve any outstanding issues with customers (e.g. problems with payment or address)
  • Help process customer exchanges and returns

A positive attitude, attention to detail, superior follow-through, supportive team interaction, and professional communication style are a must to join this elite team with a Net Promoter Score consistently at 90+ (average in retail is 61); a love of fashion, luxury products, and quality outerwear are a great plus.

This is a seasonal full-time, hourly position with flexible scheduling and extended retail hours during the busy season. Pay rate of $20 per hour. This job may require early morning or evening shifts. In addition, weekend and holiday work is also common. The time frame is August to late February, working 10-15 hours/week during training, then 20-40+ hours/week (2-3-hour morning and evening shifts and 9-10 hour shifts) in-season. Seasonal hours begin around October 1, where Customer Service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday – Sunday. This position is based in Overland’s Fairfield, IA headquarters.

Shipping/Store Maintenance

Location: Denver, CO

Overland Sheepskin Company located in Writers Square downtown Denver is currently hiring for a Shipping/Store Maintenance position. We offer an extensive collection of the finest shearling coats, designer leather jackets, luxurious fur & fabric coats, footwear, premium clothing, sheepskin & leather handbags. Our styles range from rugged Western to the most elegant of classic and contemporary fashions. We are also well-known for our luxurious home and auto accessories, including sheepskin, cowhide and bison rugs, designer rugs and pillows, sheepskin car seat covers, and more. At Overland Sheepskin Co., our goal is to provide customers with a unique, memorable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ship product to customers and stores
  • Order and maintain store supplies
  • Receive and stock new product on the floor and stockroom
  • Keep the store and backroom clean, to include regular janitorial duties
Skills:

  • Must be able to spend 100% of working time standing, walking, moving in the store, reaching, bending, and lifting.
  • Communication, interpersonal relationships
  • Proficient with computer and POS systems

The Shipper/Maintenance position may be requested to perform additional tasks in specific situations to achieve our customer service and operational goals. Scheduling includes a mix of day and night shifts, 7 days a week and Holidays.

.NET Web Developer

Location: Fairfield, IA

Overland is looking to hire a full-time .NET Web Developer in Fairfield, IA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Translate business use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain reusable and reliable code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user reported bugs and bottlenecks
  • Work closely with designers, internal business users, and other developers
  • Testing products in controlled, real situations before launching
Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, ASP.NET Web Forms, and Web API
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server tools, TSQL, stored procedures, views, etc.
