Care Instructions

Keep your slippers looking as good as new. Spot clean the outside as needed with a damp cloth, and gently use a suede brush to rejuvenate the slippers’ exterior. Sheepskin slippers should never be put in the washing machine.

Sheepskin contains lanolin, a natural antibacterial that controls odors. To keep your slippers extra fresh, you can sprinkle a bit of baking soda inside now and then and let sit overnight. Gently vacuum the interior the next morning and wear as usual. Another tip: put your slippers in the freezer for 24–48 hour to deodorize (trust us, it works!).

Question:

Will the darker leather colors (gray, black cherry, blue) transfer pigment onto lighter color fabrics such as furniture or carpet?

Answer:

Typically, this is not an issue our customers have reported. However, as with any darker color dyes, that is a possibility. This is not something that we have many issues with and of course we do offer free returns and exchanges if there is any problem.

Question:

What is the general width of the slipper. I have a wide foot and usually order a size larger if the shoe is not ww. Not sure how this works with your slippers. Is the slipper meant to be worn with a sock?

Answer:

We offer slippers in medium widths and some styles are available in wide widths. Slippers can be worn with or without socks. The shearling is a natural insulator and will be very warm without socks. The Sophia you have selected will stretch as they are a soft sole and don't have a structured sole.

My 4th pair

This is my 4th pair of Sophia's! I found them when I was looking for long lasting, warm, sheepskin slippers that didn't look like a man's style. My grandkids called my first pair "elf slippers", but I didn't care because my feet were warm. The only reason I've had 4 pairs is because I like to donate them while they're in decent shape so someone here in our cold climate can use them, and I can get a new color. I've had ongoing medical issues for the past 10 years, so I'm home most of the time. We don't wear shoes inside our home, so I needed something sturdy and warm that would last while being cozy & sturdy with 14 hours of wear a day. These are perfect!

A perfectly soft, warm and toasty slipper

These are exquisite in the lavender color, which I bought.... so warm and beautiful... this is my second pair... this first pair lasted 10 years and I didn't want to give them up. But saw these and a game changer in lavender. ALL is well in my house when I wear these.

Cute, soft, warm. What else do you need

Have been wearing these for years. My only complaint is that you have discontinued the soft sole model for one with rubber soles. It defeats the entire purpose of the product. If i want a pair of shoes I will put them on.

So soft, break in so fast!

These are amazing slippers. I was worried about sizing. I wear an 8.5 but didn't want a loose slipper so chanced ordering the 8. It was a bit narrow feeling with just enough length not to crowd my toes, but I trusted that it would shape with time, and in less than a week, they are perfect on my feet! They're pretty, so so soft, and immaculately comfortable. They are the second thing I own from Overland, and worth every penny!

Perfect Slippers

These "Sophia Soft-Sole Sheepskin Slippers" were exactly what my college daughter was looking for to keep her feet warm in her dorm room. Soft, warm, smooth bottom to slide on the carpet, with a feminine style. She put them on as soon as we opened the box - and loved them the instant that she slipped her feet into them!
