Details

The waterproof Hudson showcases a smooth leather shoe topped with a 12-inch suede shaft, resting on a treaded rubber sole. Top shaft is fully lined in plush shearling trim with an insulating wool lining that feels wonderful and keeps feet warm and comfortable. And a full-length side zipper offers easy on and off. These tall, fashion boots make every winter day count. Cold comfort rated by the manufacturer to -13⁰F (-25 C).

This boot is crafted with an intentionally unlined heel, which prevents socks from catching and heels from rubbing, enabling a more secure and comfortable fit.

These are fully lined with sheepskin.

The foot area of these boots is full-grain leather.  The shaft is suede leather.

Can overland boots be resoled? Is the leather glued or stitched to the sole?

These particular boots have a cemented sole. Not ideal to try to have resoled, but could be done.

I have. 15.5 inch calf circumference and am worried that the 15 inch circumference is too tight. Do you have this in wide calf or any boot in wide calf? Or does this boot soften and expand a little with wear?
Answer:
We don not have this in a wide calf. After some wear they will relax a bit, however, we have free return and exchanges if you purchase the boots and they don't work out for you.

It hasn't gotten cold or snowy yet, so I have only tried them on. Color is rich and beautiful. Love the feel of the sheep skin in the boot. The calf area is roomy and not tight. The tread is perfect for the snow and ice in Minnesota. I will be wearing these boots for many years!

Beautiful rich deep mocha color. Super comfortable! Warm but not so much so that your feet sweat. Getting your foot inside the boot initially can be a bit difficult, but be assured, they fit like a glove once you do. I've been traveling for a week and have received a ton of compliments. Very pleased.

The quality of this boot is exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised that they fit considering they were ordered on line. I compared Overland with Penelope Chilvers and Fairfax and favor. Both lost out in the fit. Overland boots for me didn't have any pressure points and were wearable for a day right out of the box. Thanks overland.
