Water resistant does not mean waterproof. Water resistant means that this boot will hold up to exposure to water. It will take period of time for water to penetrate the boot.

Pretty narrow

For a boot that looks like a hiking boot it is pretty narrow. Has an interesting built in spike in the heels, but no flexibility at all, which is a must for hiking boots. No way I could wear socks with these, which really defeats the purpose of staying warm. Nice to look at, but I need boots that function.

High quality boots

I was worried that there would not be enough arch support since another review suggested that is a problem. The boots have arch support, you can see and feel it. It is enough for me and the boots are quite comfortable for walking and they are warm. Also quite beautiful leather and craftmanship. I expect to wear them for many years!

Warm and well made!

I bought these boots because I am outside all the time even in winter and my feet never seems to stay warm. Well these boots are so warm that I don't dread going outside on cold and wet days. The quality is excellent and they are very comfortable. Look forward to years of enjoying their warmth and comfort in winter.
