Perfect Fedora

Walked into the Truckee, CA overland store. First item I saw was this hat. Took it off the wall...perfect fit. Sizing is spot on. XL fit just like an XL always does for me. Confortable, lightweight, looks great. Great hat!

Sizing is off

I normally fit a 7 5/8 hat (which is an XL according to their guidelines) but this one wasn't even close to fitting. Sent it back.

The smaller the size, the bigger the hat gets!!

I bought my husband an Overland hat for his birthday. He loves it, looks good, fits well, good quality. So I decided to buy this Fedora for myself because it's such a good looking hat. According to the size chart I am between large and medium, so I ordered a large per the instructions and against my gut feelings. Well I was not really surprised that it was too big so returned it for a medium. Now much to my surprise, the medium was even bigger than the large. Comically bigger! It comes down over my eyes. So I guess I'll have to move on to another hat company because now I have no idea which size to get. Would a small be bigger yet? Would an extra-large fit just right?
