Great jacket with a few niggles...
Just received today so this is a "First Impressions" review. Overall, I like the jacket. Pros: The colouring is very rich looking and I appreciate the subtle contrast of the "chocolate" wool with the brown exterior. The collar looks and works well up and down. The leather on the sleeves is a nice nod to the authenticity of the WWII B3 jackets. The handwarmer pockets are well placed. It is very cozy in single digit temps! Cons: The leather neck fastening straps are only punched. I feel they should certainly have eyelets for ease of buckling and, importantly, longevity. The inner pocket is nice but it is placed low, on the interior of the handwarmer pocket so the jacket needs to fully unzipped for access. Finally, the body girth seems a bit wide in relation to the shoulder room. I'm of avg build with slightly broad shoulders and a solid Large or 42R in most jackets. I purchased a Large and it has a bit of extra room in the mid-section
Overall a classic style that should serve me well into the future and none of the cons are dealbreakers by any means. Look forwards to many wears!
