Question:

Three Questions How does one find a cleaner for this coat? And does this coat withstand rain? Is there a water repellent product one can use? Thank you.

Answer:

If this coat needed cleaned we would advise finding a professional who is used to sheepskin (NOT a dry cleaner). Sheepskin is naturally water resistant but you would not want to get it saturated. If you were in snow or a light drizzle the coat would be okay if shaken off and left to air dry naturally. We do not recommend a water repellent product as that can damage the quality of the sheepskin.

Great quality and awesome customer service.

The boots I purchased online were too small and needed to be returned. I used the quick order available for returns and received the next size up the following day. With a return authorization label the other shoes were returned and a credit to my card came a day later. I'm very impressed with the quality of the product and customer service.

Great versatile jacket - edgy and not stodgy.

I love the option of using the hood or folding the neck into a big cozy wrap with this stylish jacket. If I can make a suggestion - the buckles for closures are too fussy and take too long to open and close. I would have liked a simple toggle or button instead.

Stunning and warm!

I first discovered Overland while visiting our son in Dever last year. I thought about this for some time and my husband purchased this coat for me as a wonderful gift for our 25th anniversary. This coat is stunning! Perfect for me as it has a little edge for a born city girl. I am 5'7" and 130 lbs. I first ordered the medium and it fit a little loose. I ordered the small and it was much more flattering on me. It all depends on the fit you prefer. Overland made the return of the small simple and had excellent communication and customer service.

I Cannot Believe the Quality, Look , and Feel!!!

I purchased this product for my wife. Instantly, he fell In love with it!!! It looks great on her!! Really luxurious and the craftsmanship is excellent. We spent several years living abroad in various European countries, and the look and feel reminds us both of the very expensive, handmade sheepskin coats we saw during our time, there. I've been browsing your website for a few years now, sort a reluctant to buy something so expensive from an online dealer. I haven't had the greatest experience with online clothing shopping. I took a chance and couldn't be more happy! I'll definitely buy a men's coat for myself!!

Disappointed for the Second Time

This coat I returned last year because I bought an XL, which was big, but mostly because the fur did not have the lightness shown in all catalogues. They show the black coat with beautiful lightness to the fur. I returned that coat. I had bought 2 pairs boots, one pair to match, they don't, but kept them and never wore them. Again I saw this coat in the newest catalogue, again beautiful with light colored fur with black sheepskin. I decided to try again and the fit is better but the fur is not light, it is brown like a brown bear... not really pretty at all. For the money I should feel very happy. I am not. I am not sure yet what I am going to do. I wanted to feel over the moon. I would be if I had a coat like the one on page 10 of the 2022-2023 catalogue. That coat is a stand out. Mine is Ho hum. I asked for the lightest one. Maybe it is, but it is not as pictured.

Beyond Happy

I had such a hard time deciding which of the Overland jackets to get and finally decided on the Petra. I'm so happy I did; it is absolutely gorgeous. I got my jacket in the sage color in size small. The color is a beautiful brownish green....very versatile. I usually wear a size 6 and the small fits me perfectly. It is so soft and feels soooo good on. I will wear my jacket on very opportunity I get.

You need to make this in plus sizes

Tried the XL but it wasn't large enough. This coat is beautiful. It would sell out if you made it in plus sizes. Just need to make sure the areas are wide enough. I've tried your other plus sizes and the arms were too narrow. The three stars are because I love the style, and wish I could wear it.
