Niiiiiiiiiice!
I have these slippers in both the regular and the wide sizes, so a compare/contrast here. My foot is a bit on the wider side through the toe box, so I am in between wide and regular widths for shoes. Typically I'm just careful about which brands I go with.
For the Owen Slippers, the wide has just a bit more comfort, and I notice that the outside leather of the slipper is less prone to scuff or touch the ground vs the regular. The construction of the sole is also different. It's not just wider, but also a bit less flexible. For the regular width, the sole is very flexible, almost moccasin-like. In the wides there is a higher "lip" on the outside of the sole and the feel leans closer to soft plastic than rigid rubber. Very nice, just an additional difference. I'm keeping both pair, but I'll use the wides more if I'm out on the patio down the driveway to get the mail. The more substantial sole helps protect the suede.
