Details

The Messenger Briefcase offers the ultimate leather bag that speaks volumes about your discriminating taste. Our classic briefcase design is handcrafted of shrunken bison leather boasting a premium rustic texture like no other leather. And it’s contrasted by solid antiqued brass hardware and Horween Latigo leather straps that fasten the front flap over two roomy pockets, where you can slide your cell phone and keys. The tartan plaid-lined interior, featuring a snap pocket, and two open pockets for phone, notebook, or small tablet, is amply sized for a 14" laptop. And the external key-locking concealed carry pocket measuring 8.25" x 13" is ballistic nylon lined with universal elastic/nylon holster included. Strap Drop: 37–43" (detachable).

One of the strongest and toughest commercial leathers used today, American Bison by nature is a fighting animal and will naturally have more scars and scratches than cowhide, goatskin or lambskin, giving each hide a ruggedly unique flair. The American Bison collection is designed to embrace and showcase these natural markings, with a tanning process that accentuates the already bold and textured appearance of the hide.

Waaaay too heavy. Considering returning

High quality leather bag. HOWEVER, fully loaded with wallet, glasses, keys, pepper spray, oh, and my gun and extra mag it comes to over 15 pounds. Not appropriate for daily use.

Stunning quality, function and looks

This is the best briefcase that I have ever seen! And it is a daily pleasure to own and use it. Thick leather straps, quality metal connections, stunning bison leather, loads of pockets and such a cool look. I bought the Legacy duffle bag a while ago as an overnight bag, and was so impressed with it that I bought the briefcase. Overland keeps me coming back for more, as I am always surprised with the quality

Great bag....but..

This is a good briefcase well made and suited for my uses. The two closure straps need to be an inch longer for better and more secure closure. It would also be nicer if the width was 1/2" wider. Overall o rate the briefcase a 9.5 out of 10 for design. 10 of 10 for the bison leather and 10 of 10 for being made in USA. Thank you Dan Low

This bag has wonderful detailing and lots of extra pockets. Comfortable to carry. Fits a laptop with extra room to carry other things. Can be placed easily under an airplane seat. A+ Overland!

Almost perfect.

Lived this messenger bag. Very beautiful, rugged and unique. Would have given 5 stars if the handle was actually placed in the top center. With the bag full using the handle, as opposed to having it draped over the shoulder, makes it cumbersome to hold because it slants causing it to rub against your leg.

I use this bag everyday to carry my laptop and associated gear, job site drawings, etc. The bag holds up very well and looks great. This is definitely one of those "buy it for life" items. Quality product and timeless looks. There's no doubt that this bag will still be in use for years to come.
