How durable is this coat? It looks beautiful, but that makes me wonder if I'd be treating it with kid gloves and worrying about wearing it during snow/rain. How does it hold up over time?

My favorite jacket.

The color, the warmth, the sizing are perfect. The only thing I would change is: eliminate the collar buckle and strap. Since the zipper goes all the way up, the buckle/strap are unnecessary. Much slicker look. You make that change, I will buy it again.

Beautiful quality

But sized for orangutans. The sleeves were at least two inches too long - seems to be a thing with Overland coats. I bought three different models and returned all three for the same reason.

This what I always wanted.

I am beyond satisfied with the quality of the jacket and the customer service as well. I had to return it the first time to get the right size and all worked like a clock with the refund and the exchange. I would definitely recommend Overland and will buy again.

Great piece of kit

This coat is well worth the money. The shearling feels luxurious against the skin. It is warm when it needs to be and comfortable when it not freezing outside. There was no break in because the sheepskin is supple.

Purchased this Jacket

I purchased this jacket and it awesome. Lots of compliments and very durable, even in inclement weather. This past season during the snow storms this jacket was cozy to wear and I stayed warm with only a sweater under it.

FedEx finally delivered even though website still had as delayed and after driving 20miles not to find package at pickup location. Coat looks very nice. Son will receive for Christmas and hopefully will enjoy!

Nicest jacket I've ever owned

I was dubious of all the positive reviews, wondering if perhaps they had been selectively curated. But this jacket is honestly the nicest one I've ever owned, and now I get it. Incredibly soft, incredibly warm. Tremendous craftsmanship and luxury. Sleeves are perhaps a half inch too long, but I can live with that. My only regret is that I live in Southern California, and won't be able to enjoy this coat more than a couple of months out of the year.
