The long tunic length adds warmth and coverage that looks great with leggings or stretch jeans. 77% Alpaca Wool, 21% Organic Cotton, 2% Nylon.

“Baby Alpaca” refers to the fineness of the alpaca wool—not the age of the animal—and is one of the softest grades of alpaca wool, most often compared to Merino wool in feel. Softer, lighter, and warmer than sheep’s wool, baby alpaca wool is naturally water-repellent and a thermal insulator, even when wet. Because alpaca wool contains no lanolin, it’s also hypoallergenic and can be worn next to the skin (it doesn’t cause that “scratchy” feeling in those sensitive to regular wool products). Over 80% of alpaca wool comes from Peru, supporting over 50,000 families living in the Andes mountains; it is widely considered one of the most eco-friendly natural fibers.

Lovely quality, chic and fashionable and warm!!

Very comfortable. Don't usually like hoods on sweaters but this one is soft; don't even know it's there. The sweater feels soooo nice. And I love that it's reversible. I bought the black/grey.

Cozy and Rich

Excellent

I bought the maroon one for my wife for Christmas. Two weeks before the 25th, she walked in my office wearing it. I forgot we had bought one several years ago. Obviously, she like it. Exchanged for the black one. The exchange process was the best I have ever had. Mailed it back for free and had the new one within 2 weeks. We have been shopping at Overland since the early 80's and everything we buy lasts forever and is the highest quality.

Comfortable, Casual and Fashionable

My wife loves the sweater! It is very comfortable and casual, yet elegant. It is our first experience with Baby Alpaca but will not be our last. The fact that it is reversible makes it an even greater value.

It's a well made reversible sweater coat that is extremely classy and very comfortable to wear. I absolutely love it and would recommend you buy it if it is still available. The other color combination is beautiful also. Overland sells nothing but quality products!!!

Great product!

Has a little bit of cotton which makes it softer to the touch. Not giving it 5 stars just because it was thinner than what I thought or expected.

Burgundy/camel, underarm pilling

Husband loved it. When putting it away, noticed small lighter colored pills on underarms of burgundy side. Looking at fiber contents discovered 2% nylon in the mix. Alpaca is known to pill when mixed with synthetics. For this reason alpaca can only be combined with wool or cotton. Not so thrilled with an otherwise very good looking piece. Combing pills off each time after wearing takes the thrill out.
