QUESTION:

I just received the Arielle moto jacket for Christmas. The sleeves almost reach my fingertips. Hard to fold under because of the zippers. How much should the sleeves "shrink" overtime? Alternatively, who would you recommend for shortening the sleeves? I would love to keep this beautiful jacket.

ANSWER:

The sleeves won't shrink over time. We recommend Arrow leather care for alterations or a reputable tailor with experience working with leather.

Sure I'd buy this jacket again !!

A very good looking jacket, of course this was bought for a young Lady. She said she loves it. She is 5'9" an a small fit her perfectly ! She is on the slim side 130 lbs. It really looks good on her !! Has enough room for a sweatshirt under the jacket 👍🏻

Gorgeous black leather jacket

I have the Ariel jacket in black. The leather is so soft and supple, which makes it so comfortable to wear. I love that the zippers and buttons match the jacket's color. The quality of this jacket is readily apparent. Size: I'm 5'3 1/2 and 150 lbs and I feel the medium is ideal. It gives me the bit of extra room I wanted. I can wear a sweater under it. The length of the sleeves is perfect as far as I'm concerned. They cover about half of my hands with my arms hanging down at my sides.. My #1 clothing pet peeve is too-short sleeves. The jacket has no strong odor, just a pleasant "new leather" scent. Overall a gorgeous, high quality leather jacket that's worth the cost.

Love this jacket... but the sleeves!

I so want keep this jacket but it would require significant alteration. I am 5'4", 34D. The small fits very well in chest and waist and length of jacket, EXCEPT for the sleeves. I have long arms for my height/frame, so I glossed over the reviews re: the sleeves being too long thinking it would probably work for me. NOPE! The sleeves are REALLY long. If only 1/2" too long, it would be a simple alteration job; unfortunately, getting the sleeves right would be a more complicated alteration job because it would require movement of the zipper on the sleeve. The lucky gals for whom the sleeves work will have a beautiful and beautifully made jacket

I recommend this 100%.

I consider this jacket pure artistry. I am a tailor/seamstress making bridal gowns to suits so when I receive something like this I truly appreciate the talents that go into it. I have worn this coat everyday since I received it and it feels heavenly. Dress it up or down, it works for all styles. The leather is so so soft and details from zippers to lining is amazing. It is warm even in 9 degree weather. I am 5.8, 170 pounds. The extra large is perfect for me.

Amazing company

From the moment I placed the order, I was beyond satisfied! First, the jacket arrived within 3 days of the order. Second, it was packed as though it was the Crown Jewels. Third, it included a wooden hanger, instruction booklet on care, and garment bag. Fourth, it was gorgeous.

Just one example of Overland's quality!

I knew this jacket would be special even before it arrived but I was not ready for the softness of the leather, the attention to design detail, and craftsmanship - right down to the gold zippers strategically placed! I'm 5'9" and in between a Size 8 and 10. The Medium is absolutely perfect.
