Anna Lambskin Leather Coat with Fur Trim and Detachable Hood

Hubby surprised me with this lovely jacket and a scarf and gloves to compliment it for Christmas! It is so flattering and comfortable! I LOVE it!!

I first saw this coat in Santa Fe three years ago but did not purchase it. My husband needed suggestions for Christmas this year so I sent him a link to this jacket and to one other Overland coat. Here are my thoughts so far: Pros: Thin but beautiful leather that will become even better with age Nice zip out lining feature Long enough to wear over tunics without them showing at the bottom of the coat Good craftmanship Nice extras including a sturdy wooden hanger and a fully enclosed garment bag designed for storing leather Well packed and shipped quickly; was wrinkled from packing but it smoothed out after hanging for a few days Some things that could be improved, which is why I did not give it a full five stars: Does not have a fastener to secure the hood around the face Does not have a double zipper so you cannot adjust the zipper from the bottom of the coat Does not have a wind shield flap inside the zipper Does not have a belt, which I believe would add to the overall design Scuba-style neckline with zipper is somewhat awkward/uncomfortable when sitting/driving

Love this jacket! Super soft leather along with a soft fur trim. It fits perfectly. Light weight but warm. It's a great piece that I will wear for years.

I bought this coat for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. The quality of the leather and fur trim is top notch. Included in the neatly packaged box is a garment bag and wooden hanger. I received my purchase four days after ordering it. I can highly recommend Overland.

So the jacket is nice and true to size. The leather is soft and has a nice feel. There is a lining but it is not a winter coat, well at least here in NE Pennsylvania. As stated in other reviews, the hood is too large and falls over the forehead. This design needs to be corrected. Also, I would add a larger collar, to complement the jacket when the hood is removed. Otherwise, good quality for the price point. Packaging was good and shipping prompt, delivered when promised.
