Premium sheepskin has a very high wool density per square inch, making it luxuriously plush and cushiony.

Amazing Softness

Quality rugs are generally larger and more evenly shaped. Each pelt is at least 97 cm—much larger than budget-grade rugs.

Quality Construction

High-quality sheepskin naturally has a luminous, even tone that’s unmarred by stains or discolorations in the underlying wool.

Natural Comfort

While lower-grade sheepskins may have minor holes, cracks, and scratches on their undersides, the leather on a premium-grade sheepskin is evenly textured, with a well buffed, supple feel (and an anti-slip effect).

This rug far exceeded my expectations. It is thick and beautiful, so soft and luxurious. Gorgeous to look at and even more wonderful to sink your feet into, or lie on in front of the fireplace. Highly recommend.

Very Pretty Well Made Rug

This is a very nice rug. I admit that initially I was a little apprehensive about the ivory, golden hue. There is a lot of stark white in my great room, but also some ivory so I guess it works. While I would have preferred the rug to be a bit whiter, this, no doubt is the natural color of the sheep skin. I admit, the more I see it, the more I like it. If you have golden/ivory tones in your space this rug would no doubt look exquisite. I like the rug enough to consider another one for my guest bedroom.

Incredible Rug.

Earthy. Natural. Unique. Plush. Perfect for our living room. We wanted something really special to tie all our furniture together. It needed to be something with the multiple tones and shadings of jute but we didn't want that texture. We just couldn't find it in a normal woven rug. This linen color in sheepskin is everything we were looking for. We first bought the white version. Too light for us. Switched to linen. Highly recommend. Overland has some of the best customer service ever. So helpful and easy to work with. Thrilled about this linen color. With a natural product like this you get so much more depth and interesting texture. Our whole family loves it. Incredibly soft. Rather remarkable to lay down on it and stretch out. More than I expected. So many compliments from guests. It's a real statement.

I am an interior designer and purchased this for my clients' primary bedroom seating area. We installed it yesterday and the client (a grown man in his 50's) layed down on it and brushed his arms and legs back and forth like he was making a snow angel!

Buy this joy. Serious. I was nervous it would be too small- it isn't. When they say 8 feet, they mean it. I thought it would look painted/fake. It doesn't. I thought it might be rough or feel synthetic. It's lovely. If you have an interest in a nice rug, you will appreciate this purchase. I can lay on it over our hard wood floor and be very comfortable. Softens up the room.
