High-quality sheepskin naturally has a luminous, even tone that’s unmarred by stains or discolorations in the underlying wool.

Natural Comfort

While lower-grade sheepskins may have minor holes, cracks, and scratches on their undersides, the leather on a premium-grade sheepskin is evenly textured, with a well buffed, supple feel (and an anti-slip effect).

Are the tips on the wolf tipped mostly black or brown?

Answer:

Hello, the tips on the wolf tipped are normally brown tipped with some variations in the darkness of that brown. Please be aware that not all sheepskin rugs are created equal and that the colors will differ from rug to rug. I hope this helps!

The linen color is going to be more of a beige color. Each rug is unique, so there will be slight differences in color from rug to rug.

Nice color

Smaller than the other skin I own, and thinner with a bald patch on the side. Not as thick and fluffy as most sheepskins from overland.

Perfection!

I ordered two single-pelt Australian Sheepskin rugs to use in the entry way of my home; two different colors. The rugs were gorgeous, exquisitely soft, and the colors spot on (gray and steel). Unfortunately, I had to return both rugs because they were just too small for the area I bought them for. I have several pillows and rugs that I have ordered over the years from Overland. Their products are of the highest quality and their customer service is outstanding. Thank you Overland for being the 5 star company that you are!

Great quality, just a bit off in the color

I bought this smaller pelt in the Ivory color, having bought 2 larger pelts in the Linen color. It's a beautiful pelt but a tad bit on the yellow side. It is not a pure Ivory, but I'll keep it anyway. I'm obsessed with these gorgeous, soft, luxurious pelts!

Sumptuous.

This sheepskin pelt is just gorgeous. The ivory does have some notes of Yellow areas in certain lights but on my leather couch those notes don't seem to come thru.
