Traveler Leather Vest

I bought this in the Park City, UT store...John the manager is always so helpful and full of insight into all the products. I wanted a vest for wearing around the house, since the NE has been brutally cold all winter. Relentless. The leather is the usual for Overland, buttery soft but strong. The wool/cashmere lining is absolutely perfect. It keeps me warm weather I zip it or not, and the collar is great on my bare neck. The look is terrific, but I don't even care, it is exactly the warmth and comfort I wanted. My wife is also an Overland addict, and bought a gorgeous tuscan sheepskin long fur vest for herself. I admit, it is also perfect. So, in comparison to the Trekker, this is slightly lighter and perhaps a trace less warm since ot is not fur lined, but now that I have them both, I can see different uses for them. This is superb for all around, indoor and outdoor, and is just a bit lighter in actual feel than the Trekker, but you won't catch me giving up either. Get one. They are great.

The vest is very high quality which I've come to expect from Overland. It's very comfortable on cold days. I do wish it was a little longer in the body. The price has dropped a little since I purchased which I think is appropriate. While it's very nice it did seem a bit pricy when I bought.
