Perfect right now
I live on the wild and beautiful coast of Maine. Here, winters can be cold, the air raw with moisture from the sea. And here, as was the case last year at this time, Covid is surging. Going out-to dinner, gatherings, performances, museums-that's something we won't be doing. What we will be doing is going outside, every day, which makes having a wonderful coat the best thing ever. My new Maggie coat is gorgeous but also casual enough to wear with jeans and hiking boots walking the dog on the beach, which I did yesterday. When so much of the life we once knew is now denied us, this practical, beautiful purchase has lifted my spirits.
