I have worn flip flop slippers because I live in Florida and they are cooler. I found that they are not sturdy and fall off if I get on a step stool or ladder . . they are not secure. I have always loved a full slipper for steadiness and warmth. It was very hard to find a nice full slipper that looks nice yet is soft and warm. In fact Overland is the only place I could find a slipper like this. It would be nice to have more colors.

Great slippers--comfy, warm, soles not too slippery for inside or outside use. Sizing, at least on my feet, ran 1 size too small. Exchange for the next size up was easy and hassle-free, though!

Even though I live in the deep South, I find that the Sophie soft sole slippers are comfortable year round. And, shhhhhh, don't tell but I carefully machine wash them in a lingerie bag on a S-L-O-W setting and then be sure they get dried out well to resize them after they're stretched out and to freshen them to "like new" condition. The website is easy to navigate and ALMOST as good as shopping for these slippers in the showroom. I find the sizing to be true and the quality exactly as one would hope for the price. The soft sole makes for sure footed, comfortable wearing. Please, keep making these slippers. I truly can not imagine life without them!
