This sheepskin pelt is beyond anything I have ever seen or felt. The fur feels like long smooth strands of silk and yet the strands are so plentiful it's really dense. It's quite beautiful! I sit on it for meditation.

While vacationing in Denver, my family and I stopped in an Overland store. We had so much fun in there. Trying on fur coats and hats. Looking at the lovely merchandise and chatting and having fun with the sales staff. I fell in love with an Icelandic sheepskin rug--counldn't put it down. It was very reasonable priced so I bought it. They sent it home free-of-charge. And now it adorns the back of the couch in the family room. LOVE! JUST LOVE OVERLAND!

Just picked up one more of the Icelandic sheepskins from Overland. I have several all white, a black and white spotted and now a beautifully mixed one with whites, browns, grays and some black streaks. Incredibly thick and long fur. This will go just beautifully on a chair where it will look great and be so soft to sit on.

Have a couple of skins that I've sewn together to get a bigger 2-pelt that I can place in a chair to cover the whole chair. (Tip for Overland: You have multi-pelts in regular sheepskin. Why not in Icelandic sheepskin?)

All my pelts are beautiful and get comments from visitors.

My Icelandic sheepskin definitely lived up to expectations. Long-haired, more white than yellow (as the helpful customer service representative suggested I specify), and with a nice clean skin, the sheepskin is clearly of excellent quality. Since it's so easy to move, I have draped it over my sofa, tucked into the seat of my armchair, laid it over my bed, and placed it on a window bench to make it even more inviting for winter reading. My daughter wants one of her own now, and my little doggie absolutely adores it! I just may have to order more...

This pelt is decadent! It is fluffy, and huge! I use it on my bed for warmth, and to feel spoiled, and it does both jobs superbly. It is a wonderful value and quality. The brush it comes with is a nice touch, thank you. I think it is just outrageously yummy.

Only negative comment relates to the spotted one. I ordered a white one and a spotted one, but sent the spotted one back. It was not spotted. It was black, with two very, very small white areas on it. It was beautiful, and I could say all the things about it that I said above, but I did not want a black pelt. I realize these are natural, and each animal's fur is one of a kind, but I think the term "spotted", together with the picture, misled me. My suggestion would be to have a little matrix of pictorial examples, and/or a little description of how they can vary. I'm glad to know this degree of variation is available though because in the future, I may call to see if a particular looking one could be found in your stock and ordered. Different "projects", different looks. Anyway, with your incredibly generous free shipping including on returns, this was no big deal whatsoever.

I have been considereing Alpaca and already have a traditional Sheepskin rug, but none compare with the Icelandic Sheepskin. It is a very plush, extravagent, highest quality product. I am considering additional purchases.
