Made of the finest Australian sheepskin available, this sheepskin runner features a plush 2.5" pile and an appealing natural shape. Because it is 2 sheepskin pelts stitched end to end, its extra long size makes it ideal for benches, long hallways, office chairs and the foot of a master bed. Made of fine Australian sheepskin and crafted in either China or New Zealand.

Not the same anymore

As a few other reviews have noted, overland has changed these- and not for the better. I previously bought 7 of these at various times in a few years ago and came back to buy another. What arrived ( same complaint as other reviewers) was thinner, stark white not ivory, not plus. I took some pictures of the one I had purchased a while ago and the newer one. No longer worth it. I went to check the reviews to see if others observed this as well and found reviews that stated the same thing. It's clear overland changed these and that don't have the same quality as before. They aren't plush, I can see the thread lining from the top - where the pelt is sewn. When you lay it flat it's so thin that if u walk on it it immediately wrinkles. The other ones were so thick and plush. Never happened. I hope they rethink these changes and return to the old manufacturing process. This wasn't a one off. I tired several times. To no avail.

Thinner than the other sheepskins I have purchased from Over

I ordered a double sheepskin rug for my home. I have two 1/2 skins from Overland that were purchased a couple of years ago. This rug, while quite lovely, is much thinner compared to the two bought previously.
