love it but it varies

I bought this hat for myself and get compliments from men and women everywhere I go. Wish I had a dollar for every compliment on it. I bought one for a family member and noticed that the hat size and shape vary a lot with this hat--apparently because they are hand made? I love it, but it may depend on the specific hat and who knit it.
