I have wanted a beaver vest or jacket for over 20 yrs since I worked in a fur salon during college. When I received this beaver vest, I was thrilled! It is exceptionally made with the leather trim around the zipper. I definitely plan to wear it casually as well as for dressy attire. My only issue is that I wear a size 10-12. I ordered the XL for room with bulky sweaters ~ it is a little too big. It overlaps in the hip area by about 2-3 inches. I decided to compare to the size L. When I tried it on, it was too small ~ truly would not meet by about 2-3 inches at the hip area. It seems odd that one was too small while the other was too big. Customer Service has been extremely helpful by suggesting a custom made one using my measurements. I wanted to test out the XL to see if it would work before I took that offer. I think having it a little large is the better plan for me. It works! One styling suggestion ~ when traveling in Montreal, I saw a woman with a similar vest over a thin insulated jacket. I am certain it kept her warm & truly it was very chic!!! Therefore, I am going to try it so I am keeping the XL! I am going to wear it every day!!!!!

I purchased this fabulous vest in all four colors available at the time! This vest is so versatile and is just the right length. I always get compliments when I wear them. Outstanding quality!
