I returned a coat to another retailer and bought the Annaleesa Down Jacket because I wanted a coat with a hood. I am a teacher in the Chicago area and have recess duty during winter months. The coat is very warm and the hood keeps most cold air out. I would like the hood better if it had tie strings. The hood rides up on the collar and when it is buckled most of the cold stays out. That is the only thing I would change. I love the design which is a bit dressier than the box down designs. I also like the fact that the fur is part of the hood rather than the strip of fur that can be unattached. The hood buttons to the jacket, so the whole hood can be removed. As the description says, the coat can be dressed up or down. The length is "a long jacket" - not a full-length coat. I'm 5'2" and the coat comes just above my knees. Full-length would be way too much for me. Thank you for such a well-made product.
