I've owned a lot of jackets and this is by far my favorite ever. Superb quality, excellent fit, I am 6'3" and slim and this fits like it is custom made. I dont mess with big boxy coats or shirts anymore and only buy what fits me well and is good quality. Bought a brown one first, liked it so much I bought the raven as well. Id like to have a second brown in case they ever stop making them which always happens to me. If I had the cash Id buy the khaki too. Only concern is havent washed it yet and I hope the special dye doesnt fade as I love for it to look new and unfaded. Dont know why Kuhl used the special dye.

this jacket was a little more fitted than my husband thought. So we had to exchange it for an XX-Large. He's 6"2 and weighs 195lbs, and has broad shoulders. So he wanted the larger size. He loves the jacket!

I searched everywhere and ordered it four other times before finding my color (raven), and size at "Overland"! Being a boots and jeans kind of guy, this jacket goes from the trail, to the slope, to dinner. I dread summer, I won't be able to wear it all the time.
I love this jacket, however, the zipper pulls are too small(which I changed), and the vertical breast pocket zips upward, making it inconvenient to hang anything from the zipper. The flip side is that nothing falls out when you open it. "Kuhl" is a brand that I wasn't familiar with and now I'm hooked.
I now start at "Overland" whenever I need something. Furthermore, I would gladly be compensated for this review with a "Burr" in brown...

I bought this jacket for my husband. Clothes shopping is truly not his thing, so I thought I'd help out. So far, I haven't seen him leave the house in any other coat. It looks very "cool" and stylish. Wonderful detailing and materials. A very fashionable variation on the standard barn jacket.

The Kuhl Burr IS the casual jacket to own. It's made with quality materials and the craftsmanship is impeccable. I am very pleased with the purchase. It feels true to size as a "fitted" coat. If you wear a large, opted for the extra large for a little more room.
