My son saw his hockey teammates wearing this hat around the ice rink and when they went snowboarding. He loves the look of the hat, its warmth, and that it makes the statement "practical, but also fashionable and trendy." The only concern is that the sizing might be slightly small, so I recommend you order a larger size.

For a beautiful, warm, sylish hat this can't be beat. Use care with it. The outer shell looks like it could tear or get nicked on a walk through the woods. Just for being outdoors in the cold, not hiking trails or similar activities, this is the hat. I'll use it when I take my daughter sledding or just being outside in the cold. Have no worries about the strap, it fits fine. Sizing is true.

At first thought an aviator hat screams Dork!!, but Overland's hat does not. It is surprisingly good looking on, more than anticipated by far, and the interior is so soft and warm. This hat far exceeds my expectations on both looks and style, I gave it as a gift, then borrowed it, now I will have to get one of my own!

very nice overall but thought i would bring up two things that possibly could be improved upon. as in the other review the straps seem a bit short, bought this for my 89 year old dad who was a fighter pilot wwII and the fastener is much more practical looking on the one he has on in a photo, also on a fairly pricey item i want a quality fastener not a piece of velcro that goobers will stick to. fixing these small things would make the product much better.

it's a fantastic hat, but I find that I have trouble tying the chin strap; it's too short for me.
I would like a clip on it like one I have on another "cheap" hat similar to this one. The clip I'm looking for is called a parachute clamp.Need one for about 1/2" strap as is on hat. Still haven't found one, making me a little frustrated !

Great hat! Just waiting for the Michigan weather to get "worse"! It is everything I thought it would be.
