Fireside Sheepskin Slippers

Print This Page
$69.00
Made from 100% Australian Merino sheepskin, our Fireside Sheepskin Slippers are warm, durable, lightweight and soft, and the hightop shearling cuff provides extra warmth. These cozy slippers feature a 100% sheepskin upper, insole and collar, a foam mid-sole, and a lightweight indoor/outdoor TPR Honeycomb outer sole. Unisex sized. Imported.

What is a TPR Sole?
It stands for Thermo Plastic Rubber Sole. Thermo Plastic Rubber is one of the latest of products used to create mold-injected soles including polymers and high tech resins. These soles offer superior comfort to ordinary die cut soles, because they are flexible like traditional leather soles but are also washable and more durable.

Comments about Fireside Sheepskin Slippers:

These are the second pair of Fireside Sheepskin Slippers my wife has purchased for me as a birthday gift. The first pair lasted over 5 years of continous use. If I were to design a perfect pair of slippers for myself, these would be it.

Comments about Fireside Sheepskin Slippers:

After several pair I decided to order two more pair. Both pair were made far inferior than they have been the last several years. Weak uppers, bad stiching, thinner leather, snugger than they used to be.The left foot on one pair was cut 3/8" longer than the other foot. In past years I've given the slippers a rsting of 5 but now I'm disappointed.

Comments about Fireside Sheepskin Slippers:

There is nothing warmer than sheepskin. Sheepskin slippers are the only slipper there should be. This is my second pair, I ordered a pair about four years ago and wear them daily, best thing to come home and slip on. I will only allow my little piggies the best when it comes to slippers and that is why Overland is my favorite sheepskin experts!

Comments about Fireside Sheepskin Slippers:

I've worn shearling slippers for over 15 years and I've tried many different brands. I'm disabled and I spend most of the time in my slippers. I look for extreme comfort, cushioning, and quality craftsmanship in a slipper. When I first placed my order with Overland, I ordered a pair of Ugg Romeo Scuffs. The soles on them were extremely hard and offered hardly any cushioning at all....although the quality of the Uggs was superb in every other way. The friendly Overland phone rep. told me that I would probably be happier with these Fireside's since they were much softer, and that I could send the Uggs back for an exchange. She did inform me that they ran a little big, and since I wore a 10.5 I should order them in 10. They actually run a LOT big, and I should have ordered them in a 9. I'd say that these 10's are more like an 11.5. They ARE softer than the Uggs, but still not as soft as I was looking for. The shearling lining is just too thin and sparse. If the shearling lining were thicker and more dense, it would make them more comfortable and they would fit more true to size. The stitching seems to be inferior as well, and I could see them probably coming apart after a little while. I actually haven't worn them much, because I find my old worn out Acorn's to be more comfy than these new Firesides. [...]

With arthritsis I have problems putting hard sole slippers on my feet. These are the most comfortable, warm, easy on and off. Keep the good work. I have given them for the last three years to family member who all love them.
