A rear zipper gives you easy wear in these handcrafted boots that feature a Latex footbed with shearling-lined shaft and sock liner, steel shank for arch support, and shock-absorbing rubber outsole with decorative tread. Heel height 2”. Shaft height 14 3/8”. Top circumference 16 3/8". Imported.

Great for Chicago winter

I have not used the boots in the snow but I know they will be great! The heel is not high, making it easier to walk in!! The inside is lined to keep those cold winter days out!! The one good thing about Chicago winters...cute boots!

Awesome!

I was looking for an extremely comfortable, very warm, versatile and durable boot. I read the reviews and I also have slightly larger calves due to exercise so even though ordered from overseas I felt confident this would work. The customer service advised on size (a little extra room due to the lining). And, they are awesome. The only thing a little unusual is the zip at the heel and the back of the leg. It feels a little strange because you are aware of it inside the boot at the back of your heel l but I plan to wear thin socks so this wont be an issue. The quality is better than I expected, very comfortable, and well made. I expect these will last for years.

As warm as they look

I looked at these for a long time before buying. One reviewer said they were loose around the top, and that made me decide to try them, as I am blessed with muscular calves. They fit perfectly, and did not require "breaking in" as another pair of fleece lined boots I have. I highly recommend these boots to anyone desiring warm comfortable boots for cold weather.

product description incorrect

The product description is not correct. It says that the shaft circumference is 14 1/4 and that is NOT correct. It is actually 16 3/8 according to the BORN site. They are big and do not fit those of us with thinner legs. This is misleading!
